<p>KINGSTON TWP. &#8212; Two men facing drug trafficking charges after authorities intercepted a package mailed from California that allegedly contained marijuana have been released on bail.</p><p>Davoughn Roshane Roberts, 24, of Port Arthur, Texas, and Marcus Lineburg-Allen, 23, of Shavertown, were arrested Feb. 5 after a package filled with marijuana was delivered to a residence on North Main Street in Shavertown.</p><p>Authorities allege the package was mailed from a post office in Oakland, Calif., on Feb. 2 and was intercepted by U.S. Postal Inspectors in Philadelphia two days later.</p><p>Postal records revealed the sender&#8217;s name and return address along with the recipient were fictitious. Authorities learned there have been several packages mailed from Oakland to the Shavertown address using fictitious names and return addresses, including a shipment Oct. 25 that contained 315 grams of marijuana.</p><p>Postage to send the latest package, which weighed nearly 4 pounds, was paid in cash to avoid an electronic paper trail, court records say.</p><p>Authorities obtained a federal search warrant to open the package that revealed a green leafy substance consistent with marijuana.</p><p>After the package was delivered Feb. 5, authorities served a search warrant at the North Main Street address and arrested Roberts and Lineburg-Allen.</p><p>Court records say two bags of marijuana, a metal grinder, a pipe commonly used to smoke narcotics, a digital scale, and other contraband were seized from the house.</p><p>The charges against Roberts and Lineburg-Allen include possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $250,000 each.</p><p>Roberts was released Feb. 7 when he posted $250,000 through a bail bondsman.</p><p>Lineburg-Allen filed a petition in Luzerne County Court on Monday seeking a modification of his bail. Later that afternoon, Judge Joseph Sklarosky Jr. modified his bail to $50,000 unsecured, permitting his release.</p><p>Preliminary hearings for the two men are scheduled Thursday in Central Court.</p><style>
