<p>WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212; Township and city police are investigating two armed robberies Thursday afternoon reportedly involving the same suspect &#8212; one outside the door of United Check Cashing on Wilkes-Barre Township Boulevard and a second about an hour later on New Grant Street in the city.</p><p>According to a post on the Wilkes-Barre Township Police Department Facebook page:</p><p>A victim reported that a black male with dreadlocks and wearing all black clothing demanded money while brandishing a handgun at approximately 2:20 p.m.</p><p>After the incident, the victim told authorities the suspect fled United Check Cashing toward Coal Street.</p><p>The same suspect is believed to have committed another armed robbery on New Grant Street in Wilkes-Barre City with another black male about 3:30 p.m.</p><p>Anyone with possible information on the suspects are asked to contact Ptlm. Godlewski by sending a private message to the department&#8217;s Facebook page or by calling 570-208-4635 ext. 326.</p><style>
