PSU/Hazleton prof receives award in cosmology competition

<p>Catholic Social Services will host a free, six-week informational workshop on substance abuse from March 19 through April 23. </p><p>The goal of the workshop is to help family members learn more about substance abuse so that they might be better able to support, assist and understand a family member that is battling a substance abuse problem.</p><p>Topics will include &#8220;Use vs. Abuse,&#8221; &#8220;What is Addiction?&#8221; &#8220;Co-Dependency and Enabling,&#8221; &#8220;How Families Can Help Themselves&#8221; and &#8220;How Families Can Help Others Seek Help.&#8221;</p><p>The workshops will take place on Tuesdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Catholic Social Services, 33 E. Northampton St. Wilkes-Barre. The dates are March 19, March 26, April 2, April 9, April 16 and April 23.
