<p>DORRANCE TWP. &#8212; A proposed real estate development near the Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club remained in limbo after a supervisors meeting this week.</p><p>&#8220;We need more information,&#8221; Supervisor Kevin Gallagher said when asked about the status of the plan, which was outlined by Robert Tamburro of TFP Limited last month.</p><p>The project covers 75 acres bound by Stairville and Blytheburn roads, which Tamburro said would be subdivided into 2.5-acre plots for the construction of 17 single-family houses.</p><p>&#8220;So far, we have only the plot plan which he submitted to us at the last meeting,&#8221; Gallagher added. &#8220;We need more information than that before we can act.&#8221;</p><p>The development is not part of another Tamburro project, a planned residential development known as the Preserve at Blue Ridge Trail.</p><p>The long-debated Preserve at Blue Ridge, which called for 28 single-family homes and 106 two-family units, is currently the subject of litigation in Luzerne County Court. Supervisors rejected the project in December, and Tamburro vowed to appeal.</p><p>In other business:</p><p>&#8226; Gallagher, who is head of the road department, said he has appealed to Luzerne County officials about the state of St. Mary&#8217;s Road, which is riddled with potholes. &#8220;I have complained,&#8221; Gallagher said. &#8220;But so far, the county has failed to respond.&#8221;</p><p>Gallagher pointed out there is a misconception that maintenance of St. Mary&#8217;s Road south into Hollenback Township is the responsibility of Dorrance. &#8220;It isn&#8217;t,&#8221; Gallagher said. &#8220;The county has that section of the road &#8230; and what they need to do is come in and mill out the roadway and repave it from the base up.&#8221;</p><p>&#8226; Supervisors approved a payment of $65,347.76 in monthly expenses &#8212; leaving a bank balance of $382,734.</p><p>&#8226; The board announced an annual community-sponsored Easter egg hunt has been set for 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at the municipal recreational fields off Blue Ridge Trail. Children through age 12 are eligible to participate. Volunteers are needed that day, the supervisors added. They asked that people willing to help should contact either Beverly Lukashewski or Pat Davis.</p><style>
