<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Michael Hirthler, of Jacobi Capital Management in Wilkes-Barre, recently was recognized among the top 1,200 financial advisors in America by business publication Barron&#8217;s.</p><p>According to Barron&#8217;s, its annual list highlights esteemed financial advisors who were assessed on varying factors contributing to the quality of their practice.</p><p>This is the fourth year Hirthler has been named to this selective list; he previously was on it in 2011, 2012 and 2018.</p><p>Hirthler has worked in the financial services industry for more than 30 years. He is founder and chief investment officer of Jacobi Capital Management, a registered investment advisor. The firm provides primarily investment advisory services to its clients, as well as financial planning services and consulting on topics including, but not limited to retirement, education, estates and taxes.</p><p>Hirthler is a graduate of Meyers High School, and earned a bachelor&#8217;s degree in economics from Dickinson College. He also is active with many local charitable organizations. He resides in Shavertown with his wife Kathleen and they have two grown children, Mary and Michael.</p><p>Hirthler is affiliated with LPL Financial, the nation&#8217;s largest independent broker-dealer and a leader in the retail financial advice market, providing resources, tools and technology that support advisors in their work to enrich their clients&#8217; financial lives.</p><style>
