<p>WRIGHT TWP. &#8212; Crestwood School Board President Bill Jones said Wednesday his school district email was hacked via an email sent to an unknown number of recipients with a message that asked people to call him.</p><p>&#8220;My email was compromised by someone or something,&#8221; Jones said. &#8220;We don&#8217;t know where it came from or who was behind it, if anyone.&#8221;</p><p>Jones said there was a Gmail account affixed to the message that stated: &#8220;Bill Jones, give me a call.&#8221;</p><p>In response to the message, Crestwood Acting Superintendent Joseph R. Rasmus on Saturday sent an email to the Crestwood community to disregard email correspondence from Jones.</p><p>Rasmus did not return a message left at his office on Wednesday.</p><p>Jones said he believes only his district email was compromised and not other school directors. He said the district&#8217;s &#8220;tech guy&#8221; couldn&#8217;t trace the origins of the email.</p><p>No report was made to the Wright Township Police Department.</p><p>Jones said he is campaigning for re-election to the school board but doesn&#8217;t believe any of his opponents were behind the compromised email.</p><p>&#8220;It could be those robo calls. Hopefully, no one would do his,&#8221; Jones said.</p><style>
