Montessori School students enjoy performance of ‘The Gingerbread Girl’

Kennedy Early Childhood Center in Nanticoke names February Students of Month

<p>Remember Career Day when you were a kid? The excitement of your Mom or Dad coming into class and telling you all about where they went when you were in school was a treat. Well, the Saint Jude School kindergarten and first-grade classes received a special visit recently when Dr. Lisa Holtz, whose two daughters attend the school, came for a visit to share all she does as a physician. Dr. Holtz had the students up and moving as they listened through real stethoscopes to one another&#8217;s heartbeats while wearing mini lab coats. Then students were each given an apron containing the parts of the digestive system, which allowed them to see where the different organs lined up with their bodies. Students played with puzzles and squishy organs, introducing them to their amazing anatomy. All of this was a part of the school&#8217;s Career Day event rescheduled due to a snow day during Catholic Schools Week.</p><style>
