<p>GAR grad Shakir Soto has signed with the Dallas Cowboys, according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.</p><p>Soto, 25, was playing for the San Diego Fleet of the Alliance of American Football before the league shutdown operations earlier this month.</p><p>The 6-foot-3, 290-pound pass rusher had 12 tackles and four sacks in eight games for the Fleet.</p><p>Soto previously was with the Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos in training camp and the preseason.</p><p>Before the AAF season started, Soto told the Times Leader his agent, Cary Fabrikant, had been in contact with the Cowboys, Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks.</p><p>Prior to landing on the NFL radar, Soto was a star pass rusher for the University of Pittsburgh.
