Spring yard sale set for April 11 in Duryea

DURYEA &#8212; The Sons of the American Legion, Squadron 585, Duryea, have begun selling their Sportsmen Raffle, sponsored by Roll Call of Duryea. Tickets are $3 each or two tickets for $5. Drawing to be held after the annual chicken barbecue on Saturday, June 6.First place prize is a Glock 42 .380. Second place, a Henry Goldenboy .22. Third place, a Smith &amp; Wesson .22 Target Model. Fourth place, a $50 gift card to Gander Mountain. Fifth place, a $50 gift card to Bass Pro Shop. Sixth place, a $50 gift card to Komensky&#8217;s Market.Tickets can be purchased from any SAL officer or at the post home.The Sons of the American Legion annual BBQ Chicken Dinner will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, June 6 at 329 Main Street. Cost is $12.
