Amid razor wire and prison blocks, advocates push for more early education money

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Mass at Saint Mary&#8217;s Church of the Immaculate Conception on South Washington Street included an extra ritual on Thursday evening: Foot washing.</p><p>The annual tradition, observed annually by Catholics worldwide &#8212; usually including the pope &#8212; recalls how Jesus washed the feet of his disciples at the beginning of his last Passover as a mark of humility he called on followers to emulate.</p><style>
