New site for forum for WB Area candidates

<p>Six Luzerne County School District got a slice of new safety grants announced Wednesday.</p><p>According to a media release sent out by state Rep. Gerald Mullery&#8217;s office, Greater Nanticoke Area got $13,560 to help pay for &#8220;trauma-informed approaches to education.&#8221; Hanover Area received $84,528 for technology and planning. Hazleton Area was granted $57,069 for student, staff and visitor identification systems.</p><p>Other local grants included $22,814 to Bear Creek Community Charter School, $12,977 to Lake-Lehman School District and $208,000 to Northwest Area School District.</p><p>The grants come from the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency and are administered by the commission&#8217;s School Safety and Security Committee, which was formed last year.</p><style>
