<p>I am writing this letter in reference to the letters that were recently published in your &#8220;Your View&#8221;section of your newspaper.</p><p>Nanticoke has a progressive thinking mayor and city council that are getting things done in the city. Please stop degrading Nanticoke and its citizens. No town or city is perfect. As like everywhere else, we are a work in progress. We are fortunate enough to maintain our own fire, police and ambulance services. That is quite an accomplishment for the area.</p><p>Apparently, Mr. Marks also has a problem with unions. Unions are responsible for child labor laws, safety standards, as well as helping the average working men and women earn a decent wage.
