<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; &#8220;The Brain&#8217; &#8212; Anthony Michael Hall &#8212; is coming to the F.M. Kirby Center for a screening of everyone&#8217;s favorite coming-of-age dramedy, &#8220;The Breakfast Club&#8221;</p><p>And Hall will stick around for an interactive discussion and Q&amp;A on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 7:30 p.m.</p><p>Tickets go on sale Friday, May 10, at 10 a.m. and are available online at kirbycenter.org, at the Sundance Vacations Box Office at the F.M. Kirby Center, or charge by phone at 570-826-1100. A Kirby Member pre-sale begins Wednesday, May 8, at 10 a.m.</p><p>Here&#8217;e what the news release said about Hall&#8217;s appearance:</p><p>&#8220;Whether you&#8217;re a Brain, Athlete, Basket Case, Criminal, or Princess, longtime fans and new audiences alike can celebrate the return of this iconic film to the big screen. Detention has never been more fun, especially when one is getting the inside scoop from Anthony Michael Hall.&#8221;</p><p>The Kirby Center said a limited number of VIP tickets will be available that include a photo with Hall.</p><p>Hall&#8217;s diverse career has included multiple movies &#8212; (National Lampoon&#8217;s Vacation, Weird Science, Sixteen Candles, Edward Scissorhands &#8212; and television programs &#8212; USA&#8217;s The Dead Zone, cast member of NBC&#8217;s Saturday Night Live.</p><p>The Breakfast Club is regarded as the &#8220;quintessential 1980s film&#8221; and is considered as one of the best films of the decade. The film was ranked #1 on Entertainment Weekly&#8217;s list of the 50 Best High School Movies (2010). </p><style>
