<p>PLYMOUTH &#8212; Two children outside playing without any pants and underwear were taken into protective custody when borough police discovered their residence was filled with human feces, spoiled food and an abundance of trash on Tuesday.</p><p>Police responded to 31 Vine St. on a report two children, a 3-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy, were running in the front yard without wearing pants, underwear and shoes while a woman sat on the porch who appeared to be &#8220;under the influence,&#8221; court papers say.</p><p>Police identified the woman on the porch as Elizabeth Hall, 23.</p><p>Hall told officers she was watching her stepsisters while the parents, Christian Joseph Flis, 29, and Amanda Lynn Dombroski, 28, were at work.</p><p>Officers inspected the interior of the residence finding it in deplorable conditions unfit for human habitation.</p><p>Trash bags filled with waste were throughout the residence, spoil food on unwashed dishes that piled the kitchen sink, vomit and dry human feces caked to floors, insects and no edible food in a dirty refrigerator were observed by officers inside the residence, court records say.</p><p>Police a representative from Luzerne County Children &amp; Youth Services was contacted and a borough code enforcement officer condemned the residence.</p><p>Officers noted in court records the children appeared not to have been bathed for some time.</p><p>Flis and Dombroski were instructed to return to their residence.</p><p>Flis was very remorseful and took responsibility telling police they have been living there since October 2018, court records say.</p><p>Flis, Dombroski and Hall were each charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of children. They were arraigned by District Judge Joseph Zola in Hazleton and released on $50,000 unsecured bail each.</p><style>
