<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; A Kingston man charged with sexually assaulting a nurse while he was a patient at First Hospital in Kingston was sentenced Thursday in Luzerne County Court.</p><p>Joshua Jones, 22, of Division Street, was charged by Kingston police after he attacked a nurse on Oct. 3.</p><p>Court records say Jones was admitted to the psychiatric hospital and the nurse was preparing a bed for him. Jones approached the nurse from behind saying, &#8220;Let me help you.&#8221;</p><p>Police said Jones grabbed the nurse by her waist, threw her against a wall and onto a bed, and jumped on top of her. Jones began kissing the nurse while grinding himself against her, court records say.</p><p>During the assault, the nurse claimed Jones grabbed her chest under her shirt.</p><p>When the nurse screamed for help, another patient ran out of the room.</p><p>Police said the nurse had injuries to her wrists, left arm and chest.</p><p>Jones was scheduled for a trial in February but pleaded guilty to false imprisonment and indecent assault.</p><p>Prosecutors withdrew a second count of indecent assault, aggravated assault and harassment against Jones.</p><p>Judge Michael T. Vough sentenced Jones to three-to-23 months in jail followed by one year probation. Jones was immediately paroled from jail when he was given credit for 208 days time served.</p><p>Jones must register his address for 15 years under the state&#8217;s Megan&#8217;s Law.</p><style>
