<p class="x_MsoNormal">LEHMAN TWP. &#8212; Wyoming Seminary took care of clinching its seventh straight Wyoming Valley Conference girls lacrosse title during Tuesday&#8217;s trip to Delaware Valley.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">It was important for the Blue Knights to get that piece of business out of the way against the then second-place team in the WVC.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">The earlier victory reduced the damage Lake-Lehman could do by handing visiting Wyoming Seminary its only conference loss for the second straight season, taking Thursday&#8217;s regular-season finale, 11-9.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Katie Roberts contributed to six goals, Jess Evans reached a career milestone and Chloe Osborne had some clutch stops among her 11 saves to lead Lake-Lehman to the win.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">&#8220;This is awesome,&#8221; said Roberts, who finished with three goals and three assists. &#8220;This is really just a good start for starting off the playoffs.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">&#8220;It really boosted us.&#8221;</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Wyoming Seminary finishes league play with an 11-1 record to take first place.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Lake-Lehman, which dropped a pair of one-goal road games, finishes 10-2 and in second place, which it could end up sharing with one or two other teams.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">With non-league games and a complex power ratings system figured in, the game could also impact the District 2 Class 2A seeding, which gives the home field to the higher seed in every game, including the final. Wyoming Seminary (13-3) was first and Lake-Lehman (14-4) was fourth out of 11 teams in a tight ratings race prior to Thursday&#8217;s results.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Wyoming Seminary defeated Lake-Lehman in the WVC and District 2 championship games a year ago.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">&#8220;We expect that somewhere along the line, we&#8217;ll be seeing one another again,&#8221; Lake-Lehman coach Ron Strohl said. &#8220;They&#8217;re a great team. I have a lot of respect for Seminary and (coach) Catie Kersey. They&#8217;ve been doing this a long, long time.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">&#8220;When the Lehman program began, the goal was to be on the same level as Wyoming Seminary. That was my personal goal when I came on as a coach and that&#8217;s the direction that I keep pushing them in.&#8221;</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Wyoming Seminary has also been a District 2 champion all eight seasons that the district has conducted girls lacrosse playoffs.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Getting past Lake-Lehman in a WVC game, however, is no longer a routine matter for Wyoming Seminary.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Evans scored her 200th career goal with 17:02 left in the first half to lift the Black Knights into a 2-2 tie and they never trailed again.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Lake-Lehman took leads of 6-3 late in the first half, then 9-5 and 10-6 early in the second.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Wyoming Seminary cut it to 10-9 before Lake-Lehman freshman Madison Lasinski made a long run down the left side to score the final goal with 3:43 left.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">&#8220;She has been a big surprise this year as a freshman,&#8221; Strohl said. &#8220; &#8230; Maddy has so much potential that she does not know her potential yet.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">&#8220;She is able to go up and down the field very freewheeling.&#8221;</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Ava Radel scored twice for Lake-Lehman. Evans added an assist to her early goal.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Grace Parsons scored five goals and Christina Kilyanek had two for Wyoming Seminary.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">Kilyanek had scored seven goals Tuesday when the Blue Knights clinched the title with a 15-8 win at Delaware Valley. Grace Parsons added five while Paige Parsons had two goals and two assists.</p><p class="x_MsoNormal">&#8220;We won in the midfield and our D played great as a unit,&#8221; Wyoming Seminary coach Catie Kersey said. &#8220;We were able to shut down their top scorers with good team defense.&#8221;</p><p><strong>Scranton Prep 11, Crestwood 6</strong></p><p>Katie Malone had five goals for the Classics. Emily Roberts and Kelsey Kulak each scored two goals for Crestwood.</p><p>The Comets defeated North Pocono 15-1 on Wednesday as Jill Taleroski scored four goals and had four assists. Taleroski also had four goals in a 24-15 non-conference loss to Allentown Central Catholic on Saturday.</p><p><strong>Pittston Area 10, North Pocono 9</strong></p><p>Julia Emmett and Emily Rinaldi each scored four goals to lead visiting Pittston Area. Rinaldi scored the game-tying goal with just 3:36 left in the game. Emmett got the game-winner with 1:18 left.</p><p>Also scoring for the Patriots were Lily Savoy and Emily O&#8217;Brien. Brooklun Pedana had 23 saves.</p><p><strong>BOYS LACROSSE</strong></p><p><strong>Wyoming Area 11, Coughlin 5</strong></p><p>FJ Braccini scored four goals to lead the Warriors. Also scoring for Wyoming Area were Ethan Hosier (2G), Dominic Deluca (2G, 2A), Jake Switzer (1G, 1A), Matt Benton (1G) and Cameron Carr (1G). Goalie Riley Rusyn made 15 saves.</p><p>Scoring for the Crusaders were Brandon Kelly (3G), Mike Senape (1G) and Aiden Redding (1G).</p><p><strong>Lake-Lehman 6, Tunkhannock 5</strong></p><p>Lake-Lehman held off a late surge from Tunkhannock to hang on for the victory.</p><p><ins><strong>Delaware Valley 12, Abington Heights 4</strong> </ins></p><p><ins>Shane Roche scored four goals and added two assists to lead Delaware Valley past Abington Heights. </ins></p><p><ins>Also scoring for Delaware Valley were Josh Balcarcal (2G, 4A), Jackson Melnick (1G, 4A), James Staeckeler (1A), Bryan Morley (1G), Alex Husejnovic (3G) and Liam Sheldon (1G). </ins></p><p><ins>Scoring for Abington Heights were Ian Steven&#8217;s (1G), Noah Johnson (2A), Nicholas Colombo (1A) and Dante DeRiggi (3G, 1A). </ins></p><style>
