Girl Scout Troop 32817 visits SPCA to earn Voice for Animals badge

<p>A Free Open House Event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 19 at the Plymouth Historical Society, 115 Gaylord Ave., Plymouth.</p><p>This year, the society will honor its local Brownie and Daisy troops with special recognition. Musicians Don Shappelle and Don Sennett will perform songs from the World War II era. An old-fashioned ice cream social with refreshments will follow. The event is free of charge and open to the public.</p><p>Parking is available at the Wyoming Valley West High School parking kots on Wadham Street.</p><p>The Plymouth Historical Society is a non profit organization in its 33rd year preserving, protecting and projecting history in our community. Regular hours of operation are Thursdays and Saturdays from noon to 4 pm.</p><p>For more information, call 570-779-5840.</p><style>
