Psi Beta Honor Society holds induction at LCCC

<p>The Order of Alhambra, local caravan Alhamar 4 inducted new member Dr. Dan Edmunds, ED.D.,D.D.,B.C.S.A May 8.</p><p>Dr. Edmunds is a noted psychotherapist, Professor of Existential Psychology, author as well as autism/child development specialist. The order is open to Catholic men and women 18 years or older. The main objective of the Order of Alhambra is to assist intellectually disabled people and provide activities and support for special needs children and adults.</p><p>Each year, the order provides scholarships to educate undergraduate students studying to become special education teachers.</p><p>Their largest local event is the annual festival for the intellectually disabled to be held Aug. 18.</p><p>Donations are always appreciated and may be sent to Alhamar Caravan #4, 17 Belles Ave., Ashley, PA 18706. Checks should be made payable to Alhamar Caravan 4.</p><p>For information on becoming a member, contact Patrick Umbra, Supreme Director RII, at 570-822-3597. Initial membership application cost is $155 which includes a fez or sash. Annual dues are $60.</p><style>
