<p>WHITE HAVEN &#8212; A memorial fund has been set up to assist the family of a 12-year-old boy who died in a bicycle crash Friday afternoon, the same day he graduated from 6th grade.</p><p>Christian Senchak was a student at Fairview Elementary School.</p><p>Christian was riding his bike in the area of Laurel and Buffalo streets around 12:30 p.m. when he collided with a vehicle. No charges have been filed.</p><p>Luzerne County Coroner Dan Hughes confirmed that the youth was pronounced dead around 1:30 p.m. at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.</p><p>Friends created <a href="https://www.gofundme.com/christian-senchak?utm_source=facebook&amp;utm_medium=social&amp;utm_campaign=fb_dn_cpgnstaticsmall_r&amp;fbclid=IwAR0y7ZKp1h_IdVpkGqefuaP-IssRTfRQq54j8kglPsEKLcENbHGwn636YVg" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">a GoFundMe account</a> for Christian&#8217;s family. As of 7:30 p.m. Saturday it had raised more than $8,300 toward a $15,000 goal.</p><p>&#8220;On May 31st, 2019, Christian graduated 6th grade. Also on May 31st, Christian gained his angel wings,&#8221; the page states. &#8220;Christian was taken to be with the Lord at a time so soon that we are unable to comprehend.&#8221;</p><p>&#8220;While the journey to come to terms with the emotional void remains heavy on the minds of Christian&#8217;s parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, we can help by lessening the financial burden of funeral expenses for a wonderful son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend that will be so terribly and sorely missed,&#8221; it adds.</p><style>
