<p>The Transfiguration of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church&#8217;s Pancake Brigade will make potato pancakes on Saturday, June 8 at the parish hall at 210 Center St. in the Hanover section of Nanticoke. The pancakes will be ready at 10 a.m. There will also be a giant yard sale at the hall from 9 a..m. to 2 p.m. Most of the items will be half off with the markdown taken at checkout. Items include furniture, kitchen ware, bedding, antiques, clothing, VHS tapes (mostly Disney) wall pictures,mirrors, scarfs, etc. Homemade pierogi will be for sale as well as hot dogs, sauerkraut,whimpies, sausage and peppers, clam chowder and haluski while supplies last.
