<p>Crestwood&#8217;s Anthony Caporuscio was named the Offensive Player of the Year and Scranton Prep&#8217;s Tucker Johnson was selected the Defensive Player of the Year by the Wyoming Valley Conference boys lacrosse coaches.</p><p>Caporuscio turned in his second consecutive 100-goal season and is the only Pennsylvania player every to do so, according to laxrecords.com. The junior upped his career total to 320 goals as the Comets won the WVC and District 2 Class 2A championships. Johnson was part of a defense which allowed four or fewer goals five times in WVC play, including a pair of shutouts.</p><p>North Pocono&#8217;s Robert Deremer was named Coach of the Year. The Trojans finished 6-6.</p><p>Joining Caporuscio as attack on the first team were teammate Wyatt Malia and Wyoming Seminary&#8217;s Ryan Anderson. Malia is a junior and Anderson is a senior.</p><p>Offensive midfield selections were Crestwood sophomore Trey Zabroski, Scranton Prep senior Gregory Fisher and Wyoming Area junior Dominic DeLuca. Dallas junior David Lipinski was chosen as a defensive mid. Johnson, a junior, was selected as a long stick mid.</p><p>Defender selections were Dallas senior Christian Motley, Delaware Valley senior Nash Hamill and Wyoming Seminary junior Andrew Lehman. Scranton Prep senior Kyle Reiher was the first-team goalie and Delaware Valley sophomore Finnegan McCormack was picked as the face-off specialist.</p><p>The second-team all-star attack players were Delaware Valley juniors Josh Balcarcel and Jackson Melnick and Dallas junior TJ Herron.</p><p>Second-team offense mids were Coughlin senior Brandon Kelley, North Pocono senior Jason Parola and Abington Heights junior Dante DeRiggi. Crestwood sophomore Jimmy Hawley was the defensive mid and Wyoming Seminary senior Bobby Deluno was chosen the long stick mid.</p><p>Second-team defenders were Crestwood sophomore Ryan Harding, Dallas senior John Betzko and Scranton Prep senior Ethan Tost.
