NEPMTA awards annual music scholarships to five high school seniors

<p>Numerous students from the Back Mountain and the Wyoming Valley and Mountaintop areas were recently honored for their artistic excellence.The students in grades one through grade six exhibited their best artwork at the School&#8217;s End Exhibit at Sue Hand&#8217;s Imagery, Dallas.</p><p>The students attend Apple Tree School, Bear Creek Charter School, Good Shepherd Academy, Bear Creek Community Charter School, River of Life Christian Academy, Wyoming Valley Montessori School, Holy Rosary School, Wilkes-Barre Academy, Wyoming Seminary Lower School, Wyoming Area Catholic School and various elementary schools in the Wyoming Area, Wyoming Valley West, Hanover, Pittston Area and Wilkes-Barre school districts.</p><p>Ribbons of Artistic Excellence were awarded to outstanding artwork on each grade level for grades 1-3. Students in grades 4-6 competed for first, second, and third place ribbons in various categories on each grade level. Best of Grade Level rosettes were awarded on all grade levels, as well as special awards which were judged across grade levels for Best Still Life, Best Landscape, Best Seascape, etc. </p><p>Participating students included Gia Aiello, Kate Barth, Nate Bevan, Maryn Cosgrove, Isabel Cronin, Nadia DeFinnis, Mila DeFinnis, Erika Doran, Aaron Girvan, Jonah Gottlieb, Emily Griglock, Matthew Hufford, Aiden Jacob, Haley Jacob, Becky Klinetop, Dennis Lee, Delia Maloney, Gabrielle Medura, Colin Prawak, Ella Prawak, Wyatt Russick, Sadie Son, Kaylee Steve, Kate Stinson, Peyton Taylor, Anna Vitali, and Nora Yurko.</p><style>
