<p>Mountain Top turned in strong performances at the plate and in the circle, earning a 16-4 victory over Greater Pittston in five innings on Tuesday in the District 16 Little League major softball bracket.</p><p>Gigi Musto had two singles and was a standout in the field for Mountain Top in the win. Jorja Snyder added two hits of her own, including a double.</p><p>Kendall Petrosky and Charlene Daisey shared pitching duties in the win to advance Mountain Top to the championship round of the double-elimination bracket.</p><p>Julia Mehal pitched for Greater Pittston and added a double at the plate.</p><p>Greater Pittston will host Nanticoke at 6 p.m. today, with the winner getting a rematch with Mountain Top on Friday.</p><style>
