<p>WILKES-BARRE TWP. &#8212; Township police refiled a firearm offense against Ravone Davis, accused of robbing a man outside United Check Cashing in February.</p><p>Davis, 31, was initially charged with robbery, illegal possession of a firearm and other offenses Feb. 26 after township police alleged he approached a man outside the business and demanded money Feb. 21.</p><p>Police said it took several seconds for the man to react. During the short delay in response, Davis allegedly pulled out a handgun stating, &#8220;I&#8217;ll put one in you,&#8221; and &#8220;What you got?&#8221; before going through the man&#8217;s pockets, stealing a money order and $600 cash, court records say.</p><p>The man had exited the check cashing business when he was allegedly robbed by Davis.</p><p>Davis was carrying Michelob Ultra beer in a bag he purchased at the nearby Quick Stop Food Mart, police said.</p><p>At Davis&#8217; preliminary hearing May 9, District Judge Michael G. Dotzel forwarded charges of robbery, theft, terroristic threats, simple assault, reckless endangerment and harassment to county court. Dotzel dismissed the firearm offense against Davis.</p><p>Police refiled the firearm offense against Davis who was arraigned by District Judge Joseph J. Carmody in Luzerne County Central Court on Wednesday. Bail was set at $50,000.</p><p>Police in court records say Davis is prohibited from carrying, possessing and owning a firearm due to a felony conviction in New York.</p><p>Davis, who claimed he was homeless during a previous court proceeding, and Ashavan Terrell Monroe, 22, are facing other street robberies in Wilkes-Barre.</p><style>
