<p>HANOVER TWP. &#8212; Three fire departments responded to a house fire on Plymouth Road on Friday night.</p><p>At around 11 p.m., firefighters responded to a call of smoke coming from the attic of 551 Plymouth Road. Upon arrival, they discovered a small fire with one person inside the residence, said Mike Meeker, a Hanover Township firefighter in charge of the scene. The resident was able to leave the house and was not injured, Meeker said. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze before midnight.</p><p>Firefighters battled the blaze in full gear with temperatures in the 80s Friday night. Although it was not as hot as the afternoon was, when the highs were in the mid-90s, some firefighters were seen pouring bottles of waters over their heads after they put out the fire.</p><p>In addition to Hanover Township, firefighters from Nanticoke and Sugar Notch were also on the scene.</p><p><em> &#8212; Tamara Dunn</em></p><style>
