Nanticoke man charged with sending genital pictures to child

<p>LUZERNE &#8212; A man brutally beaten outside of his Luzerne home late Saturday night remains in intensive care, but has made improvements.</p><p>Richard Meier, 26, was attacked by an unknown assailant on Saturday outside of his home. According to Luzerne Borough Police Captain Scott Kocher, Meier has become more responsive in the days since the attack.</p><p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve communicated with his [Meier&#8217;s] mother through text messages,&#8221; Kocher said. &#8220;He&#8217;s more responsive and making improvements.&#8221;</p><p>Kocher also said that he hopes to make arrests soon regarding the attackers.</p><p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve got suspects and evidence that supports it,&#8221; Kocher said. &#8220;Arrests will be made.&#8221;</p><style>
