Luzerne County cyber attack prompts Hanover Area to borrow short term

<p>WILKES-BARRE &#8212; Two women were cited by city police on allegations they caused a disturbance following a civil hearing before a district judge earlier this week.</p><p>Police responded to the courtroom lobby of District Judge Richard Cronauer on Tuesday when Alyssa Rose Pawelsky, 27, of Lynbrook, New York, and Nadine Michelle Ryder, 27, of West Ross Street, Wilkes-Barre, began arguing.</p><p>Pawelsky had filed a civil suit against Ryder alleging she failed to return an iPad valued at $256 and an iPhone valued at $699. Pawelsky filed the suit July 17 with Cronauer.</p><p>Cronauer ruled against Ryder demanding her to pay Pawelsky $804.55.</p><p>Following the hearing, Ryder and Pawelsky engaged in a verbal confrontation in the lobby loud enough for Cronauer to intervene.</p><p>During the confrontation, Ryder struck Pawelsky several times in the face and head, according to court records.</p><p>No serious injuries were reported.</p><p>Pawelsky was cited with separate summary counts of disorderly conduct alleging she caused a public inconvenience and a recklessly created a risk.</p><p>Ryder was cited with separate summary counts of disorderly conduct and a single summary count of harassment for allegedly striking Pawelsky in the head.</p><p>Citations were filed with Cronauer and mailed to the two women.</p><style>
