Carpenters Union 445 volunteers for Habitat for Humanity

<p>Kris Jones, an entrepreneur with a 20-year track record of successful ventures, will discuss &#8220;Redefining Northeastern Pennsylvania through Social Entrepreneurship: An Entrepreneur&#8217;s Vision,&#8221; at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, in the Burke Auditorium of the McGowan School of Business at King&#8217;s College. Sponsored by the McGowan Center for Ethics and Social Responsibility at King&#8217;s, the lecture will serve as the College&#8217;s annual Labor Day Lecture.</p><p>Jones, whose experience includes locally based business including Pepperjam, ReferLocal, Special Guest App, LSEO.com, and KBJ Capital, will discuss the importance of providing &#8220;examples of what is possible, mentoring younger people to see and support the realization of their potential, and otherwise using leadership to stimulate economic development and community spirit in NEPA.</p><p>Jones received his undergraduate degree in psychology from Penn State University, a master of science in experimental psychology from Villanova University, and a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School.</p><p>The William G. McGowan School of Business is located on the corner of North River and West Union streets. Parking will be available in on-campus lots.
