<p>HAZLETON &#8212; A man has been taken into custody on charges related to shots fired in the city earlier this summer, Hazleton Police Chief Jerry Speziale said.</p><p>Christopher Paniagua, 18, of Hazleton was wanted in connection with the July 23 incident at North Laurel Street and West Spring Street.</p><p>According to a release from Speziale:</p><p>Investigation revealed Paniagua fired the shots. He surrendered to Hazleton police detectives Friday afternoon with his attorney and was taken into custody and was processed.</p><p>He was charged as an adult with multiple counts, including aggravated assault, propulsion of missiles into an occupied vehicle, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person and possession of a firearm.</p><p>Paniagua was transported to the Luzerne County Correctional Facility in Wilkes-Barre, where he remained Saturday for lack of $100,000 straight cash bail.</p><p>Police continue to investigate this and two other July shooting incidents that caused damage to a home and vehicles with no one injured.</p><p>&#8220;We will continue to make more arrests in the coming days as we search for those responsible,&#8221; Speziale said.</p><style>
