<p>PLAINS TWP. &#8212; Police are investigating a shooting at the Red Roof Inn Saturday night with two possible victims.</p><p>According to a Facebook post by Plains Township police:</p><p>Officers were called to the motel on Route 315 at about 7:30 p.m. for a reported shooting. Upon arrival, police observed a male victim lying on the floor inside a room.</p><p>Emergency medical crews treated the victim at the scene and transported him to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.</p><p>Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center also notified police that there was a gunshot victim in their emergency department. Police believe that both incidents were related to the Red Roof Inn incident.</p><p>Details about the victims were not released on Sunday.</p><p>Investigation continues by Plains Township Police, Pennsylvania State Police and the Luzerne County District Attorney&#8217;s Office.</p><p>Anyone with information can contact Plains Township Police at 570-829-3432 or call 911.</p><p>The incident led to heavy police presence at the motel, <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/755064/shooting-reported-at-red-roof-inn-on-route-315" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">as first reported by the Times Leader</a> on Saturday night.</p><p>The motel has been the scene of past police activity.</p><p>In a recent high-profile case, three suspects charged in connection with the slaying of an Edwardsville man <a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/754890/slaying-suspects-lawyer-wants-das-office-off-case" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">were arrested as they left the motel on April </a><a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/754890/slaying-suspects-lawyer-wants-das-office-off-case" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">17</a>.</p><p><a href="https://www.timesleader.com/news/717671/four-charged-with-robbery-allegedly-retaliation-for-treatment-of-od-woman" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Last October, township police arrested four people</a> on charges they robbed a man at the Red Roof Inn in retaliation for placing a woman in a hallway after she overdosed on heroin, according to court records. </p><style>
