<p>A man who Hazleton police alleged sent a threat to set off pipe bombs at an elementary school to distract a mass shooting at a high school was released Saturday when he posted bail.</p><p>Christian Earl Diehl, 28, was arrested by city police who tracked a cell phone number used to send the threatening message, which was reported to Hazleton Mayor Jeff Cusat early Saturday morning.</p><p>Court records say the message read as follows: &#8220;do you think the police will find THE CADAVER WITH OUR MANIFESTO HIDDEN INSIDE OF IT THAT WE LEFT IN THE WOODS BEHIND DIAMOND AVENUE IN THE COAL MINES JUST PAST MONGEES STREET BUT BEFORE PARDEE, HAZLETON PA 18201. before the HOMEMADE PIPE BOMBS go off at ARTHUR STREET ELEMENTARY to distract from the MASS SHOOTING were going to commit the HAZLETON AREA HIGHSCHOOL.&#8221;</p><p>Cusat notified police who contacted Hazleton Area School District Police Chief Edward Harry.</p><p>Police learned the message was sent by a cell phone they traced to Diehl, who used the same cell phone to call Luzerne County 911 to report an incident in Butler Township on July 6, court records say.</p><p>Police searched for Diehl for most of Saturday until he was arrested at about 9:15 p.m. when he was found driving a vehicle in the area of Sixth and Church streets in Hazleton.</p><p>Diehl was arraigned by District Judge Matthew C. Christopher in Shickshinny on a single third-degree felony count of bomb threats. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility where he posted a percentage of $50,000 bail, earning his release from jail.</p><p>A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Oct. 2.</p><style>
