Luzerne County Diary Court visits Fall Fest at Hillside Farms

<p>Northeastern Pennsylvania Theatrical Alliance will hold its second annual Memorial Concert benefiting the William A. Dzancewicz Memorial Scholarship of the Performing Arts on Friday, Oct. 4 at Little Theatre of Wilkes Barre (LTWB), 537 N. Main St., Wilkes Barre.</p><p>A cash bar cocktail reception will be held at 7 p.m., followed by the program at 8 p.m. A suggested donation of $5 is appreciated, which will benefit the scholarship for the performing arts given to a graduating high school senior who is continuing on in some form of theatrical education.</p><p>The memorial program honors members of NEPTA who passed away during the recent year. Those being recognized are Jane Asher and Judy Lawler. of Pocono Lively Arts; Sid Michaels Kavulich, of Actors Circle; Dr. Peter Cupple of Actors Circle and Showcase; James Karen, Carole Thorton Kennelly, Robert P. Niznik, of LTWB; and Antoninette (Toni) P. Nardone, of Showcase and LTWB.</p><p>Members of the theatrical groups will also perform in honor of those being recognized. For Sid Micheals Kavulich, Cathy Rist Strauch and Bernard M. Ott of Actors Circle will perform the classic Abbott and Costello piece, &#8220;Who&#8217;s On First?&#8221; And for Peter Cupple, Sarah Houck, a member of Mostly Opera, will perform the operatic aria, &#8220;Quando Me&#8217;n Vo&#8221; accompanied on the piano by her mother, Linda Houck. Members of LTWB and PLA will also perform in honor of their members who passed away recently.</p><p>Other theatrical members of NEPTA who will be present include DIVA Productions, Theatrical Gems, Endless Mountains Theatre Company, DM Performance Works, The Worthington Players, Tamaqua Area Community Theatre, Actor&#8217;s Guild of Schuylkill County, Music Box Theatre, Gaslight Productions, Center Stage, and Pennsylvania Theatre of Performing Arts.</p><p>For more information, call 570-856-2639.</p><style>
