‘Coffee with First Responders’ set for Nov. 5 at Isle of Coffee

<p>Cider Painters of America will hold their annual miniature art exhibit at Main Street Galleries, 370 Pierce St., Kingston from Nov. 10-Dec. 27 where miniature paintings created by local and international artists may be purchased.</p><p>Cider Painters of America is a non-profit organization founded in 1983 in Dallas. The artists&#8217; goals are to create miniature paintings of excellence and encourage public awareness and enjoyment of miniaturism.</p><p>Paintings can be no larger than 3&#8221; x 5&#8221; in size, the size of a standard note card and are highly collectible pieces of art. Artists are allowed painting medias such as pastel, colored pencil, oil, acrylic and watercolor and they must be created in a painterly way.</p><p>In addition to the United States, Cider Painters of America is open to having artists exhibit from England, Germany, Belgium, Australia, Canada, Japan, and various countries from South America.</p><p>Awards are presented at the reception which will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 11 at Main Street Galleries. </p><p>For additional information call 570-287-5589.</p><style>
