The new ‘three amigos’ riding into Trump impeachment inquiry

<p>NANTICOKE &#8212; Investigators are still searching for a Nanticoke Police Department SUV after a knife-wielding suspect overpowered an officer Sunday afternoon and stole the vehicle with a woman inside, Capt. Robert Lehman said this evening.</p><p>The name of the suspect and the woman were not released.</p><p>The incident began after police were called to Greater Nanticoke Area High School where a man reportedly was holding a woman at knifepoint, Lehman said. The suspect overpowered an officer before fleeing with the SUV, with the woman inside.</p><p>Police did fire shots, Lehman said, but no one was struck.</p><p>The suspect was last seen in the area of Alden Mountain Road.</p><p>Wilkes-Barre Township Police posted an image on their Facebook with an advisory to the public to call 911 immediately if they see a vehicle with Car #7 on the front, adding &#8220;special attention&#8221; in the Mountain Top, Nanticoke, Newport Township, Glen Lyon, and Hanover Township areas.</p><p>State police have been called in and will be taking the lead, Lehman said.</p><p>Check back for updates.</p><style>
