Plymouth Twp. supervisor: no comment about AG report, but Tilbury not coming back

The Bloomsburg women&rsquo;s basketball team has been getting solid play all season long from senior Taylor Montana and redshirt junior Meghan Corridoni.
				Montana, a 5-foot-11 forward and a Berwick graduate, is averaging 9.6 points and 5.3 rebounds a game. She leads the Huskies with 18 blocked shots and had 17 points and eight rebounds in a 75-63 PSAC victory over Millersville last Saturday.
				She had a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds, both season highs, in a 67-52 triumph over Holy Family on Nov. 26.
				Corridoni, a 6-foot-1 forward and a Holy Redeemer graduate, is averaging 7.3 points and 5.1 rebounds and has 15 blocked shots. She had 13 points and six rebounds in the Millersville victory and has picked up three double-doubles on the season and all three came in Huskies victories.
				She had 13 points and 10 rebounds in a 79-68 triumph over Jefferson, 14 points and 16 rebounds in a 61-56 win over Mansfield and 12 points and 12 rebounds in a 62-56 win over Clarion.
				&ldquo;Taylor and Meghan provide great size and presence in the post,&rdquo; coach Alison Tagliaferri said. &ldquo;They are both mobile and strong and just being in the game usually draws double teams. That presence allows us to work inside and out a lot of times.&rdquo;
				The coach talked about the two players&rsquo; best attributes.
				&ldquo;Meghan has a great perimeter shot which makes her a little harder to guard,&rdquo; Tagliaferri said. &ldquo;Taylor is just a strong back-to-the-basket type of post player. They compliment each other very well.&rdquo;
				Bloomsburg is 9-10 overall and 6-9 in PSAC East play.
				Alexis Lewis (Seton Hall)
				The 5-foot-10 senior guard is on a roll the last five games with the women&rsquo;s basketball team, the Pirates 14-8 overall and 7-2 in the Big East Conference after a 65-63 league victory over Villanova on Sunday.
				The Holy Redeemer graduate had 11 points and eight rebounds in the game. She began the stretch by scoring 18 points in an 82-70 victory over Creighton on Jan. 17 and she had 20 points in a 97-55 triumph over Providence on Jan. 19.
				She followed that up with a pair of double-doubles, 16 points and 10 rebounds in an 82-66 loss to St. John&rsquo;s on Jan. 26 and 18 points and 10 rebounds in 61-47 win over Georgetown last Friday.
				Abby Norwillo (Penn)
				The sophomore finished second in the pole vault for the women&rsquo;s indoor track team at the Villanova Invitational last Saturday. Her height was 11 feet, 7 &#190; inches.
				The Pittston Area graduate had a season-best 11-9 &#190; when she finished 13th at the Dr. Sander Columbia Challenge on Jan. 25 at the Armory in New York City. Norwillo&rsquo;s personal best is 12-10, which she recorded when she finished fourth in the Ivy League Indoor Championship last February.
				Jimmy Hoffman (Lehigh)
				The junior has been sidelined with an injury, but he came back to score a tough 6-5 tiebreaker victory over P.J. Ogunsanya in the 149 pound class as the 12th-ranked wrestling team turned back No. 19 Army 24-9 last Friday.
				The Hazleton Area graduate is 13-3 overall and 4-2 in dual matches with two pins, a major decision and two technical falls. His fastest pin came in just 39 seconds. He has a 39-16 career record with the Mountain Hawks.
				Adiya Golden (St. Francis)
				The freshman had a big effort with the women&rsquo;s indoor track team at the SU Challenge last Saturday in Selinsgrove. Golden, from Laflin and a Scranton Prep graduate, finished second out of 21 runners in the mile with a time of 5:29.25. A senior teammate edged her out.
				She also ran a leg on the 4x400 relay, which finished third in 4:37.38. Golden finished ninth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:31.93 at the Gulden Invitational on Jan. 25 in Lewisburg.
				John Porter Luksic (Widener)
				The senior has been a standout performer on the men&rsquo;s swimming team all season long, and now the Dallas graduate has his eyes set on the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships from Feb. 13-16 in York.
				Luksic is out to better his previous showing in the championship, having finished third while being named to the All-MAC third team in the 200 breaststroke the past two seasons. He was an honorable mention in that event as a freshman.
				Luksic also earned All-MAC second-team honors in the 400 medley relay last season.
				Draig Ruff (Eastern)
				The men&rsquo;s basketball team has won six straight and the 6-foot-3 sophomore guard is a big reason why. The Wyoming Valley West graduate had 21 points, five rebounds and five assists in a 71-68 MAC Freedom victory over DeSales on Jan. 29 and came back with 15 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals in a 73-70 league triumph over Wilkes.
				Ruff leads the 12-7 Eagles in scoring (12.8), assists (56) and steals (30). He&rsquo;s averaging 5.1 rebounds a game and is second on the team in blocked shots (10).
				Henry Polanco (Mansfield)
				The freshman sprinter posted a PSAC qualifying time for the men&rsquo;s indoor track team when he finished ninth in the 60-meter dash at the Bison Open and Multi last Saturday in Lewisburg. His time was 7.15.
				The Hazleton Area graduate recorded a 7.05 time when he finished second at the Southern Tier Collegiate Open on Jan. 11 in Ithaca, N.Y. Polanco also competes in the 200 and 400 meter dashes for the Mounties during the indoor season.
				Abbie Sheerer (Widener)
				The senior finished third in the high jump at the SU Challenge last Saturday in Selinsgrove. She cleared 4 feet, 11 &#190; inches. The Pittston Area graduate had a big effort in the Haverford Quad Meet last Thursday. She finished first in the triple jump with a 33-11 &#189; effort and ran a leg on the 4x400 relay which finished first with a time of 4:33.03.
				Her personal bests are 5-3 &#190; in the high jump and 36-0 in the triple jump.
				Savannah Purdy (Marywood)
				The freshman scored a career-high 27 points in 22 minutes to lead the women&rsquo;s basketball team to an 85-57 Atlantic East Conference victory over Wesley on Jan. 10. The Lake-Lehman graduate was 11 of 14 from the field and 3-for-3 from 3-point range.
				She&rsquo;s averaging 6.8 points a game. The Pacers are 6-11 overall and 3-4 in conference play after a 67-65 league victory over Immaculata last Saturday. Sophomore Katie Wolfgang (Wyoming Area) had 11 points in the game.
				Tyler Evans (Hood)
				The 6-foot-5 senior had back-to-back big games for the men&rsquo;s basketball team. The Berwick graduate had 20 points and eight rebounds in a 94-83 victory over Albright on Jan. 25 and came back with 18 points and seven rebounds in a 93-87 loss to Lycoming last Saturday.
				Both games were MAC Commonwealth contests, the Blazers 12-7 overall and 5-5 in league play. Evans is averaging 10.5 points and 4.6 rebounds a game with 17 assists, 23 steals and seven blocked shots.
