Remember When: Neighborhood stores made their own ice cream

I had the honor of attending a blessing ceremony for Asher Dicton on Feb. 1 at Temple Israel in Wilkes-Barre.
				Asher is a patient at Children&rsquo;s Hospital in Philadelphia, and the moving program at the Temple was very supportive of Asher staying strong until he gets better.
				I&rsquo;m writing today to acknowledge the Wyoming Valley West Middle School Chorus under the direction of Scott Coates.
				Joined by Asher&rsquo;s classmates, the chorus members played an important and wonderful role in the blessing ceremony. Their beautiful voices performed inspiring and moving selections that were appreciated by all and brought tears to our eyes. And everyone looked so wonderful in their &ldquo;Asher Strong&rdquo; shirts.
				Kudos to Mr. Coates and all of the students for their exemplary appearance, manners, voices and love for Asher.
				Also thank you so much to Temple Israel for hosting and welcoming everyone.
