As a representative of this community, I was stunned by the recent position taken by a Wilkes-Barre resident on the performance of the Wilkes-Barre Health Department. With governors throughout the country complaining about the lack and shortage of testing materials, I find the concerns raised at the last City Council meeting for the City of Wilkes-Barre to be trivial.
				In every action my family has had with the Health Department, I have been extremely satisfied by the response time and the information given in the weekly updates provided by Mayor George Brown. As a leader in the NAACP branch, my concern is obvious given the statistics concerning the death rate among African Americans nationwide. It is a serious virus with deadly consequences with at risk people.
				We should be glad Wilkes-Barre has an aggressive and active Health Department and not take any pot shots at it.
				Especially NOW!
				Kudos to Mayor Brown and Mr. Radulski and his staff for keeping us safe.
