One of the ‘Hometown Heroes’ banners hangs in front of the The Black Diamond American Legion Post. 395 on Wyoming Avenue in Kingston. This banner shows the Black Diamond’s Commander Rich Pries, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. The Kingston Historical Society has placed 85 Hometown Heroes banners on Wyoming Avenue and Market Street to honor the town’s veterans.
