DOH responds to concerns; changes the way nursing home data reported

WEST HAZLETON &mdash; Borough police allegedly found 533 heroin packets during a traffic stop after the driver said he had a &ldquo;little bit of heroin.&rdquo;
				Police said they stopped Coty Dominick Frank, 27, of Nesquehoning, for driving a 2004 Honda with an inoperable and broken turn signal on North Broad Street on Thursday.
				Frank allegedly told the officer he did not have a driver&rsquo;s license.
				As Frank was ruffling through a bag, the officer noticed track marks on his arms and hands indicative of narcotics use, according to court records.
				Police in court records say Frank pulled out a sandwich bag containing packets commonly used to package heroin and fentanyl.
				When the officer asked Frank if he was in possession of any controlled substances, he replied, &ldquo;Yes, I have a little bit of heroin,&rdquo; court records say.
				Police searched the vehicle including two bags allegedly finding 533 heroin packets, two small bags of suspected cocaine, syringes, cell phones, and prescription medication.
				Frank was arraigned by District Judge James Haggerty in Kingston on charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $20,000 bail.
