PITTSTON TWP. &mdash; A large amount of methamphetamine, heroin and a loaded handgun were discovered during a traffic stop on Interstate 81 late Tuesday.
				State police at Wyoming stopped the driver of a Mitsubishi, identified as Jason Strange, 36, that had a broken brake light and a license plate registered to a Ford in Philadelphia at about 9 p.m.
				Strange allegedly identified himself as Thomas Strange.
				Troopers learned his true identity and discovered he was wanted by authorities in Bucks and Philadelphia counties.
				A passenger in the vehicle, Victoria Elizabeth Zak, 33, of Drexel Hill, was wanted by authorities in Bucks County, court records say.
				A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered a large amount of methamphetamine, heroin, packaging materials and a .22-caliber handgun with an altered serial number, according to court records.
				State police said Strange is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing, carrying and owning a firearm.
				Strange was charged with possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, illegal possession of a firearm, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving with a suspended license and three counts of driving under the influence.
				Zak was charged with possession of a firearm with an altered serial number, firearms not to be carried without a license, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
				Strange and Zak were arraigned by District Judge David Barilla in Forty Fort and jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $25,000 bail, each.

Methamphetamine, firearm found during traffic stop
