KINGSTON &mdash; Two summer rites of passage are about to get underway in the municipality.
				Officials have announced their 2020 regulations for operation of the Kingston Municipal Pool, which opens for the season on June 27; and for its Clutter Cleanup Program, will kicks off on June 22.
				In the case of the pool, those regulations have been updated in keeping with the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
				Here&rsquo;s what you need to know:
				Pool rules
				&#8226; The Kingston Community Pool is open to current members and residents of the Municipality of Kingston only.
				&#8226; Any person or family who was a member of the pool during the 2019 season is eligible for a 2020 membership regardless of residency.
				&#8226; Proof of Kingston residency is required for purchasing daily passes.
				&#8226; Block passes will be sold at the pool and Kingston Recreation Center on a daily basis. Proof of Kingston residency is required at the time of purchase.
				&#8226; The number of those admitted each day will be limited. When capacity is reached, new guests will not be allowed in until others exit.
				&#8226; Enhanced sanitation protocols and operating procedures will be in place for conformity with CDC guidelines and public safety.
				&#8226; Memberships go on sale at the Kingston Recreation Center on Monday, June 15.
				&#8226; The Kingston Recreation Center will be open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the sale of pool memberships only. The gymnasium and fitness rooms are closed until further notice. Membership applications are also available at www.kingstonpa.org.
				&#8226; Pool memberships will not be sold at the Municipal Building.
				&#8226; 2020 rates and operating dates are available at www.kingstonpa.org and on the Kingston Recreation Center and Kingston Community Pool Facebook Pages.
				Clutter Cleanup Program
				A permit fee of $40 per household is charged to cover costs of heavy equipment and fuel tipping fees. Residents must purchase their permits at least one week before their zone&rsquo;s scheduled pick-up date.
				Permit applications will be sold at the Kingston Municipal Building, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Permits for Zone #1 go on sale on Monday, June 15.
				&#8226; Permits will be sold at the front entrance of the municipal building only.
				&#8226; There will be a designated line leading to the tax collector&rsquo;s office for the sale of clutter permits.
				&#8226; Please maintain social distancing and be patient as we expect a high volume of permits to be sold.
				&#8226; All persons entering the municipal building for a clutter permit are required to wear a mask.
				&#8226; Please exit the building after the completion of your transaction to avoid congestion.
				Clutter must be curbside and ready for collection by 7 a.m. on the Monday of your zone&rsquo;s designated pick-up. Clutter shall be placed on the tree lawn any sooner than 48 hours prior to your zone&rsquo;s scheduled pick-up.
				Each household with a permit is restricted to 1,000 pounds of clutter. The maximum size for a clutter pile is 6 feet long, by 4 feet wide, by 4 feet high.

				No electronics accepted
				Electronics will not be accepted. Electronic items that are left on the tree lawns will be treated as litter. Citations will be issued to violators.
				This program is available for Kingston residents only. Commercial businesses are not eligible for participation in the program.

				Pick-up zones outlined
				The community is broken down into eight (8) zones for the Clutter Cleanup Program. The zones and their dates of pick-up are as follows:
				&#8226; Zone #1 &mdash; June 22 through June 26, East Union, Lathrop between Rutter and Ford, East Vaughn, East Walnut, East Bennett, Church between Wyoming Avenue and Rutter, Park Place, Anthracite, Rutter from Church to Forty-Fort line, Stewart, and Wyoming Avenue.
				&#8226; Zone #2 &mdash; June 29 through July 3, Pierce, Reynolds, James, Butler, East Dorrance, Lathrop Court, Lathrop Street between Tioga and Westmoreland, Hedge Place, Gershom Place, Ford, Charles, Rutter between Pierce and Church, Westmoreland, Gibson, Warren between Pierce and Lathrop, Meadowland, Tioga between Pierce and Lathrop, Hamilton, Church between Rutter and Third, Keith Drive, Joseph Drive, Stanley Drive, Nandy Drive, Milton Drive, Sahara Drive, Milford Drive, and Sylbert Drive.
				&#8226; Zone #3 &mdash; July 13 through July 17, East Hoyt between Wyoming Avenue and North Gates, Chester between Wyoming Avenue and North Welles, Ridge, Rutter between Market and Pierce, Wright, Osceola, Winola, Warren between Pierce and Chester, Tioga between Pierce and Chester, Humpleby, Taylor Lane, North Landon, North Atherton, North Loveland, North Goodwin, North Welles, North Thomas, and North Gates.
				&#8226; Zone #4 &mdash; July 20 through July 24, Market (excluding W. Market), Bowman, Carle, Dean Court, South Landon, South Atherton, South Loveland, South Goodwin, South Welles, South Thomas, South Gates, Northampton between Wyoming and South Gates, Davis, East Hoyt between First and Third, North Dawes, South Dawes, First, Second, and Third.
				&#8226; Zone #5 &mdash; July 27 through July 31, West Union between Wyoming and Railroad, John, West Vaughn, West Walnut, West Bennett, Eley, Mercer between Eley and West Union, Schuyler between West Vaughn and West Union, Duplan Manor, Floralon Drive, Carolon Drive, and Woodland Drive.
				&#8226; Zone #6 &mdash; July 27 through July 31 , Railroad between Union and Price, Mercer between Union and Division, Elm between Division and Price, Schuyler between Union and Price, Price, Division between Wyoming Avenur and Railroad, Poplar, Sharpe, Academy Lane, West Dorrance, Gordon Lane, and Lackawanna Lane.
				&#8226; Zone #7 &mdash; Aug. 3 through Aug. 7, Main, Court, North Sprague, South Sprague, North Maple, South Maple, Page, Curtis, Mott, Spruce, Covert, Chestnut, West Market, Elm between Pringle and Price, West Hoyt, Pringle between Wyoming Avenue and Elm, Newitt Place, Ross, and Schuyler between Market and Price.
				&#8226; Zone #8 &mdash; Aug. 3 through Aug. 7, Pringle between Brook and Grove, Krych, Penn, Pulaski, Cherry, Eno, Brewster Lane, Frederick, Richard, Edward, Brook, Zerbey, Gillis, Belles, Masons Court, Korn, Thomas Lane, Meyers Lane, New Hurbane, Center, Payne, Cuba, Curtis, Meyers Court, Grove, Main between Payne and Center, and Division between Brook and Grove.
				Note: Zones 5 & 6 and 7 & 8 will be collected concurrently.
				Office hours
				The Administrative Offices of the Municipality of Kingston will open to the public on Monday, June 22 (with the exception of clutter permit applications). The offices are open Monday- Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for servicing all public needs. Any member of the public entering the Municipal Building will be required to wear a mask and adhere to social distancing guidelines until further notice (no exceptions).
