FORTY FORT &mdash; After an employee at the Dunkin&rsquo; in Forty Fort allegedly told a police officer that he was no longer welcome there, the owner of the Dunkin&rsquo; has reaffirmed his support for local law enforcement.
				Eric May, the owner of the Dunkin&rsquo;, commented on a Facebook post that said &ldquo;Just got news that the Forty Fort Dunkin&rsquo; Donuts refuses to serve any police officer.&rdquo;
				&ldquo;I can assure you we love and respect all officers,&rdquo; May said. &ldquo;I have spoken with the officer involved, and he visits us multiple times per week and knows we feel this way.&rdquo;
				A post from Forty Fort police officer Andrew Labar&rsquo;s girlfriend on Monday sparked a viral outrage as she recounted how Labar had been turned away from Dunkin&rsquo;. The post has since been removed from Facebook, but May says that the incident is being investigated internally.
				&ldquo;We would never tolerate that type of disrespect toward anyone from our employees,&rdquo; May said.
				Borough police chief Dan Hunsinger released his own statement on the Forty Fort Police Department&rsquo;s Facebook page asking residents to support Dunkin&rsquo;.
				&ldquo;We cannot and will not allow anyone to take out their hurt and frustrations over the misguided actions and statements of one employee, out on the owner of the Forty Fort Dunkin&rsquo; Donuts, or any of his employees,&rdquo; Hunsinger wrote. &ldquo;The Forty Fort Police Department holds no ill will towards the Forty Fort Dunkin&rsquo; Donuts, its owner or its employees.&rdquo;
				Forty Fort mayor Andy Tuzinski weighed in on the situation late Monday evening, saying that &ldquo;the Dunkin&rsquo; in Forty Fort has always been supportive of first responders, especially police.&rdquo;
				He mentioned that May had sponsored several Coffee with a Cop events, and that he gave May a call after speaking with Labar.
				&ldquo;The officer involved is a fine police officer, an excellent father and a veteran who I respect a great deal,&rdquo; Tuzinski said.
