HANOVER TWP. &mdash; An 18-year-old man charged with stealing an American flag and a POW/MIA flag from the Hanover Area High School has been released on unsecured bail.
				Andrew Gushock, of High Street, Hanover Township, and three juveniles stand accused with stealing the flags from the flag pole in front of the high school on July 8.
				A surveillance camera recorded the theft with footage released by police on their Facebook page.
				Police in the criminal complaint say within hours of the 43-second video clip being released, numerous people identified Gushock and the two juveniles.
				Gushock was questioned by police on July 11 when he admitted to stealing the flags from the high school, the complaint says.
				Police charged Gushock with institutional vandalism, maliciously taking down the American flag, theft and receiving stolen property. He was arraigned by District Judge Ferris Webby of Wright Township and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
				On the same night the flags were stolen from the high school, police said American flags were stolen from houses in the Korn Krest and Hanover Green communities, including the headquarters of the Hanover Township Fire Department on Sans Souci Parkway.
				Police believe all stolen flags have been recovered.
				Gushock has only been charged with stealing the flags at the high school.
				Police Chief Al Walker could not be immediately reached for comment Thursday to determine if additional charges may be filed.
