Millie (Kovalchik) Glinsky tells the crowd at the East Broad Top Railroad about this being one of life’s rare ‘second chances.’ Glinsky recalled how in 1960 she broke a non-alcoholic beverage over #12 for the occasion of the relaunch of the East Broad Top Railroad as a tourist operation, and 60 years later she did it again, on Friday, Aug. 13, 2020. The engine is named ‘Millie’ for her.
