WILKES-BARRE &mdash; A man who city police alleged lured an ex-girlfriend to a meeting at which she was slashed in the face earlier this year was arraigned Friday.
				Malik Jermaine Macon, 28, of South Sherman Street, Wilkes-Barre, was jailed without bail by District Judge Joseph Halesey in Hanover Township where he was arraigned on two counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault and one count of recklessly endangering another person.
				Halesey deemed Macon a danger to society in denying bail.
				Macon is the third person charged in the March 16 slashing of his ex-girlfriend inside a vehicle on Simpson Street.
				According to the criminal complaints:
				The victim told police she was contacted by her ex-boyfriend, Macon, asking to meet because she was relocating to Georgia.
				When the victim arrived on Simpson Street, Macon got out of a white Nissan and entered the victim&rsquo;s car.
				Macon told the victim to drive down the street and pull over.
				Macon exited the victim&rsquo;s car saying, &ldquo;Now you got to deal with that,&rdquo; the complaint says.
				The victim told police as soon as Macon exited her vehicle on the passenger side, Jocelyn Lee Rodriguez, 27, of Wilkes-Barre, opened the driver&rsquo;s side door. The victim attempted to crawl over the seat but Myesha Upshur, 27, held the passenger side door closed as Rodriguez slashed her face with a knife, the complaint say.
				Police were notified of the slashing when the victim went to Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains Township.
				Rodriguez is facing charges of two counts each of aggravated assault and simple assault and one count of recklessly endangering another person. She remains free on $250,000 bail.
				Upshur is facing two counts each of criminal conspiracy to commit aggravated assault and simple assault and one count of criminal conspiracy to commit recklessly endangering another person in county court. She remains jailed at the Luzerne County Correctional Facility for lack of $150,000 bail.
