Showdown set as US to declare UN sanctions on Iran are back

WILKES-BARRE &mdash; A Plymouth man entered a guilty plea on Tuesday to theft charges after police say he helped steal nearly $12,000 worth of tools from a subcontractor for the Wyoming Valley Sanitary Authority.
				Daniel Joseph Ledden, 51, entered guilty pleas on charges of conspiracy to commit theft, criminal trespassing and theft before Luzerne County President Judge Michael T. Vough on Tuesday.
				According to police, in two separate incidents, Ledden conspired to steal items with Joshua C. Forrester-Westad, 37, stealing tools from a construction trailer in November of last year and a catalytic converter from a vehicle last September.
				Criminal complaints say that on Sept. 19 last year, the pair removed the catalytic converter from a vehicle owned by Aaron&rsquo;s, a company based on Wyoming Avenue in Kingston. Police said the damage to the vehicle amounted to just shy of $2,250.
				Then, on Nov. 13, the pair were recorded on surveillance cameras breaking into a construction trailer owned by Multiscape, stealing nearly $12,000 worth of tools, filling a shopping cart with them and pushing them away.
				Vough set Ledden&rsquo;s sentencing for Nov. 10. Court records show that Forrester-Westad, who is from Fairport, N.Y., pleaded guilty in late May, and was sentenced by Vough to spend between three and 23 months in prison.
