Wilkes-Barre identifies use of additonal CARES Act funds

EXETER &mdash; In a short virtual meeting of the Wyoming Area School Board only a brief mention was made in regards to future schooling, with no specific proposals. 
				Superintendent Janet Serino addressed the matter during her report. &ldquo;Decisions are being made in regards to future schooling. Please watch the Wyoming Area website for updates.&rdquo; 
				The district had initially planned in July to open in a hybrid mode with some students attending classes in school while others attended online, but later switched to start the school year with remote-only learning. The Superintendent&rsquo;s report also noted &ldquo;new computers are also being installed for teachers to lessen connectivity issues with virtual learning.&rdquo;
				In the voting session, the board:
				&#8226; Rescinded the appointment of Cheryl Banull as school psychologist and appointed Katelyn Moore to the position.
				&#8226; Rescinded the appointment of David Bond as guidance counselor and appointed Keven Whitman in the position at a salary of $49,332.
				&#8226; Accepted the resignation of special education teacher Rebecca Jones and appointed Rachel Hain to the post, at a salary of $58,332.
				&#8226; Appointed Marla Moses as long-term substitute for English teacher Cindy Lynch at $43,477, and Cameron King as long-term substitute for music teacher Joyce Becker at $38,733.
