More than 20 large oaks felled around LCTA project site; plan calls for new trees to be planted

One of the last old oak trees in what had been a row of more than 20 along Pennsylvania Boulevard crashes toward the ground Thursday morning. At least six had been removed earlier this week, and workers downed about a dozen in a matter of hours on Thursday.
