Their view: COVID policies must give restaurants a fighting chance

After falling behind early, the Dallas boys soccer team ran off four unanswered goals to pick up a 4-1 victory over Pittston Area.
				Four different Mountaineers scored in the win: Jace Chopyak, Michael Bufalino, Eddie Maier and Zach McEntee. Bufalino and Chopyak each added an assist as well for Dallas, along with assists from Ricky Hoyes and Nate Savignano.
				Pittston&rsquo;s lone goal was scored by Josh Noone and assisted by Kevin Talipan.
				Wyoming Seminary 2, Wyoming Area 1 (OT)
				Luke Johns found the back of the net in overtime to lead Wyoming Seminary to a win over the Warriors.
				Johns&rsquo; goal was assisted by Thomas Iskra. Sem&rsquo;s first goal of the game was scored by Iskra and assisted by Johns.
				Wyoming Area&rsquo;s lone goal came from Dylan Kostik off of an assist from Hayden Foland.
				Crestwood 5, Hazleton Area 1
				Nick Ruggeri and Ben Rossi each scored a pair of goals in the Comets&rsquo; win over Hazleton Area.
				Nico Schwartz added the other goal for Crestwood, who ran out to a 3-0 halftime lead.
				Johnathan Wassaf scored for the Cougars, assisted by Mike Mehalshick.
				GIRLS SOCCER
				Wyoming Area 3, Pittston Area 1
				A pair of second-half goals from Halle Kranson were the difference-maker for Wyoming Area in a win over rival Pittston Area.
				Kranson put the Warriors ahead for good with a penalty kick before tacking on an insurance goal just a minute later. Wyoming Area&rsquo;s first goal of the game was scored by Brooke Evelock. Olivia Allen made an impressive 15 saves in goal for the Warriors.
				Kayla Rodzinak scored Pittston&rsquo;s only goal to make it a 1-1 tie early in the second half.
				Lake-Lehman 5, Nanticoke 0
				Keera Naugle led the way with a pair of goals as Lake-Lehman shut out Nanticoke Area.
				Additional Lehman goals were added by Chase Purdy, Lilian Raczkowski and Autumn Palka. Hailey Kline had two assists, while Brenna Hunt and Gabby Shonis added one assist each.
				FIELD HOCKEY
				Emmaus 2, Wyoming Area 1 (OT)
				Rachel Erbine&rsquo;s overtime goal toppled Wyoming Area in a low-scoring contest.
				The goal was assisted by Alexis Kociban, who scored Emmaus&rsquo;s first goal in the third quarter with an assist from Annika Herbine.
				Toni Minichello scored the Warriors&rsquo; lone goal in the first quarter, assisted by Kayla Kiwak.
				Crestwood 6, Nanticoke Area 0
				The Comets scored a trio of first-quarter goals en route to a big win over Nanticoke Area.
				Aubrey Colo was Crestwood&rsquo;s leading scorer with two goals, while Gabby Ambosie, Alex Lipinski, Mallory Moratori and Emma George each added a score apiece. Ambosie added a pair of assists and Moratori and Emily Delvecchio each added an assist, as well.
				Lexi Nichols made 16 saves for Nanticoke.
				Wallenpaupack 8, Hanover Area 0
				Hannah Karp scored five goals to lead the Buckhorns past Hanover Area.
				Karp scored in each of the four quarters, and also added an assist on a goal from Aimee Salinas. Other Wallenpauck goals were tallied by Scarlett Schratt and Kayla Schmalzle, each of whom had an assist, as well.
				Taylor Martin made eight saves for the Hawkeyes.
