YATESVILLE &mdash; The Pittston Area School Board unanimously gave Frank Serino another year in the president&rsquo;s seat during the annual re-organization meeting Thursday. He was the only person nominated.
				Unlike most other local School Boards, Pittston Area did not hold a separate meeting after adjourning the reorganization session, opting to schedule its regular monthly meeting for Dec. 17, so no other business was conducted Thursday.
				Joe Salvo was re-elected vice president. District Magistrate Alexandra Kokura Kravitz donned a robe as part of the Zoom meeting to swear in Serino and Salvo for another year.
				Bruce Knick was appointed to a three-year term as School Board representative on the Wilkes-Barre Area Career and Technical Center Joint Operating Committee. The JOC, which runs the center, is comprised of representatives from the boards of the five member school district.
				And the board voted to hold regular monthly meetings on the third Tuesday of each month for 2021.
